Welcome to krellis.org, Tim Wilde's home on the Internet. I like to have fun, and tend to be somewhat, well, zany, to put it politely, so... all views expressed on this site are my personal views and opinions, and in no way related to my employer. Occasionally I wonder if they're even mine... Also note, I'm really really horrible at keeping this site up-to-date; it's actually not terrible right this very second because I'm typing it, but by the time you READ this typing, it's probably horribly old again. Sorry.
I'm a geek of UNIX/Linux, DNS, security, privacy, and basically just about anything on the Internets (on the line?). I've been playing with this stuff since I was 16, when I started DynDNS.org (what is now dyn.com, though I am no longer associated with them). I cut my teeth on FreeBSD and (perhaps obviously) in the DNS business, but in recent years I've been spending more time on Linux and in non-DNS-related worlds.
I host mail and some other services for various friends, family, and acquaintances on my server, so don't assume that just because something is hosted here that it is "mine", only that I'm providing it with resources. All opinions are strictly those of the authors of the work, and not necessarily mine! :)
I worked for a number of years at Team Cymru doing Perl development and systems/software/network engineering work relating to security research, which led me to make a lot of interesting friends and taught me a lot about bad stuff on the Internet. Short version: bad stuff is bad. Be safe. Use Internet Condoms(tm).
You know you've always wanted to have a barcode generator! (Now working again thanks to another site move!)
Love DNS? Want to show your pride? Check out the "DNS is glorious" store!
Got an old cell phone you don't know what to do with? Recycle It! It's good for the environment, it's free, and it can even be tax deductable.
